Plastics2Pack designs its packaging in such a way, that we create the best packaging possible with the least material used. In our current society we can't imagine a world without plastic packaging. They are essential for protection, presentation, cost efficiency, product safety and last but not least, ease of use. Because we mostly use the very firm material OPS we can realise a weight reduction of 20% compared to the more traditional materials such as PS, PET and PP. This, ofcourse, is an enormous boost for the environment.
Besides regular packaging, Plastics2Pack has also taken the path to biodegradable packaging and has been producing these for several customers over 6 years. For these biodegradable packaging we use PLA, a biological degradable material, made out of natural resources such as starch.
All waste which is created at Plastics2Pack is reduced to a processable resource for the plastic industry. These resources are received with interest by this industry and reprocessed to new materials.
Besides these facts, Plastics2Pack also holds the environment as an important part of our ISO 22000 system.
